Accreditation is the process of recognizing the high level of work of a medical institution that provides high-quality and timely services to patients in compliance with high standards in the healthcare sector, as well as the necessary requirements for the qualifications of personnel.<\/p>

Accreditation of medical institutions is carried out in order to:<\/p>

  • analyze the activities of existing medical institutions, determine the human resources and distribute the workload among medical institutions;<\/li>
  • determine the level and condition of the existing material and technical base, technologies used in medical activities;<\/li>
  • provide patients with the opportunity to receive quality medical services<\/li>
  • optimize the system of medical institutions, including through the termination of activities or their reorganization.<\/li><\/ul>

    Which organizations deal with international accreditation?<\/strong><\/p>

    Usually, the accreditation of medical institutions is carried out by the authorities that carry out their activities within the state. However, today many medical organizations are increasingly resorting to the assistance of international organizations in the matters of accreditation, including in order to increase their own prestige, as well as to confirm their high level of quality of the services provided.<\/p>

      Jci accreditation<\/strong><\/p>

      Joint Commission International, or shortly JCI, is an international organization that evaluates the quality of patients\u2019 service and safety in healthcare facilities. JCI accreditation allows you to attract medical tourists – patients who are looking for high-quality foreign medical facilities to receive high-quality medical services. In this area, JCI is the largest and oldest organization in the world: for example, as of 2021, JCI accredited more than 300 public and private medical institutions in 40 countries around the world.<\/p>

      If you decide to obtain JCI accreditation, please note that the procedure includes the following steps:<\/p>

      • conducting personal conversations with personnel and patients;<\/li>
      • study of office work, personnel policy;<\/li>
      • assessment of previous accreditations;<\/li>
